Geared for growth… USA SHADE (a division of PlayPower) is a world leader in the manufacturing and construction of commercial outdoor steel and fabric shade structures. We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to support Florida (Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville). We are an aggressive and challenging specialty contractor performing design/build projects in the rapidly advancing tensile structures field. We are dedicated to collaborating with our clients, making their design concepts a reality, and continuing to advance fabric architecture.

This position is responsible for generating sales of diverse shade products in a national and/or regional assigned area through relationship building and by demonstrating exemplary presentation, negotiation and closing skills.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop new clients within assigned territory using various methods including, but not limited to, cold calling, attending trade shows, face-to-face meetings, and direct marketing from their home office.

• Potential clientele base will be focused on: government (school, cities, counties, military) developers, general contractors, architects, churches, private schools, universities, HOA’s, airports, etc.

• Work with existing clients and contacts to develop new business and cultivate existing business relationships.

• Collaborate with other departments i.e. project management and engineering to ensure a positive customer service experience and client satisfaction.

• Track, measure and analyze personal performance through the company’s contact management tool.

• Prepare and present proposals to customers.

• Perform various administrative tasks i.e. conceptual drawing requests, design drawing requests, and completing reports and paperwork as needed.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, highly preferred

Compensation:

Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards.  The salary range for Tampa, FL is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.

Position Overview

The primary function of this position is to process parts in the metal and vinyl departments.  This position will be adequately cross trained in various functions on all fabrication machines within the department.  The fabricator will comply with all safety and quality guidelines on machinery and in the workplace. 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

1. Required to understand the differences between operating small hydraulic die stations, such as notch, mash, saw, and presses.

2. Cross training required in the general category and one machine in the specialty category.

3. Understand and be able to maintain accurate inventory.

4. Complete daily paperwork and perform operator daily PM on tools and equipment.

5. May be required to operate fork truck.

6. Perform Daily housekeeping / 5S.

Powder Coat Operator

Evening Hours:

2pm-9pm 

Responsibilities include:

1.    PULLING PARTS

    by

determining parts to be gathered by reading relevant product reports.

2.    GATHER PARTS

    by

pulling parts per materials list and checking quantities and warehouse locations. Parts will not be checked off the requirement list until a small green label has been verified with the requirement list and quantity.

3.    VERIFIES PARTS

    by

    looking at small green bar codes on parts or by using E-Docs.

4.    STAGE PARTS

    by

placing them in neat, straight rows and label carts with proper color and dates of list.

5.    REPORTS MISSING PARTS

    by

recording them on a missing parts report using S.O. number, color, part number, quantity and informing supervisor.

6.    PREPARES PARTS

    by

hanging parts to be coated.

7.    HANG PARTS

    by

using clean hooks and racks this will provide a good ground, which will improve transfer efficiency. Verifying that the small green bar code label corresponds with the requirement report and quantity. Hanging parts on the line in such a manner that prevents them from falling off the line or filling internally with water while utilizing all available space and filling racks completely.

8.    INSPECTS PARTS

by

visually looking for part defects, sand or Scotch Brite any rough areas as needed; or any part that has been previously powder coated.

9.    PLUG PARTS

by

    placing appropriate size plugs in any hole that is threaded or any hole that could let water in.

10.    SPRAY PARTS

    by

    applying powder to products with the correct amount of milage and looking at color tag in front of parts and bringing the correct color hopper to the spray booth from the powder storage room,         using the oldest powder first in the powder storage area..

11.    VERIFIES READINGS

by

looking at gauges on the motor control center to make sure temperatures are correct before starting the line.

12.    CHECKS PARTS

by

    Scanning small green bar code labels so that parts get labeled correctly.

13.    LABELS PARTS

by

Scanning small green bar codes through clear plastic bags; applying footing labels, if required; and placing a 2” x 4” bar code on the outside of bag. Replace small green bar code if it came off during the process.

14.    CONDUCTS FINAL CHECK

by

Visually inspecting package to make sure it is acceptable.

15.    PACKS HARDWARE AND SMALL COMPONENTS

by

    Gathering and verifying shipments.

16.    PREPARES SHIPMENTS

by

    Reading relevant product reports, gathering, packing, protecting, and labeling.

17.    PACKS ITEMS

by

    Verifying identifying information, quantity, and condition of items; staging and protecting items.

    Checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed materials.

inspecting the finish of the parts; removing the small green film that covers the bar code label on parts; and cleaning threaded holes and reworking parts if needed. Then placing parts in bags, boxes or bubble wrap & placing them on table to go to Ship 1. Then delivering any ship1 cartons or any truck items to the mezzanine area of the shipping department.

SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for day to day function of the department and driving the team toward achieving shift and department goals through effective communication skills and fair implementation and administration of company policies. Under general supervision, the welder is responsible for producing high-quality welds on galvanized thin wall steel and/or black steel components using MIG welding equipment. Responsibilities include:

1.    PULLING PARTS

    by

determining parts to be gathered by reading relevant product reports.

2.    GATHER PARTS

    by

pulling parts per materials list and checking quantities and warehouse locations. Parts will not be checked off the requirement list until a small green label has been verified with the requirement list and quantity.

3.    VERIFIES PARTS

    by

    looking at small green bar codes on parts or by using E-Docs.

4.    STAGE PARTS

    by

placing them in neat, straight rows and label carts with proper color and dates of list.

5.    REPORTS MISSING PARTS

    by

recording them on a missing parts report using S.O. number, color, part number, quantity and informing supervisor.

6.    PREPARES PARTS

    by

hanging parts to be coated.

7.    HANG PARTS

    by

using clean hooks and racks this will provide a good ground, which will improve transfer efficiency. Verifying that the small green bar code label corresponds with the requirement report and quantity. Hanging parts on the line in such a manner that prevents them from falling off the line or filling internally with water while utilizing all available space and filling racks completely.

8.    INSPECTS PARTS

visually looking for part defects, sand or Scotch Brite any rough areas as needed; or any part that has been previously powder coated.

9.    PLUG PARTS

    placing appropriate size plugs in any hole that is threaded or any hole that could let water in.

10.    SPRAY PARTS

    applying powder to products with the correct amount of milage and looking at color tag in front of parts and bringing the correct color hopper to the spray booth from the powder storage room,         using the oldest powder first in the powder storage area..

looking at gauges on the motor control center to make sure temperatures are correct before starting the line.

    Scanning small green bar code labels so that parts get labeled correctly.

Scanning small green bar codes through clear plastic bags; applying footing labels, if required; and placing a 2” x 4” bar code on the outside of bag. Replace small green bar code if it came off during the process.

Visually inspecting package to make sure it is acceptable.

    Gathering and verifying shipments.

SUMMARY: 

Working as a lead member of a team, assist in the attainment of all ROTO MOLD production requirements by learning and following all process steps and requirements necessary to produce parts, as well as mentor other employees on the processes and practices. Position requires constant overhead work at a height of approximately 15 feet.

Customer Service Associate

Job Purpose:   

The Customer Support Associate is responsible for order entry and assistance to sales representatives. They will oversee the order entry process, insurance certificates and the bid/performance bond requirements.  He or she may also assist in recall process and administrative functions for the team. This role is based out of our Monett, MO office and supports the Miracle brand. 

Essential Job Responsibilities:   

• Process incoming orders and change orders from the sales team

• Enter orders into Syteline

• Upload orders to the shared drive after they are processed

• Train new rep/sales rep in order entry process

• Receive all reps bond request forms and forward to bonding company

• Receive bonds back from bonding company, process and mail to reps

• Update bond worksheet and file bonds

• Receive all reps insurance certificate request forms and forward to insurance company

• Receive certificate copy and file

• Handle all recall customer calls

• Update spreadsheets

• Issue all call tags

• Assign certain reps to handle customer service problems in absence of sales service

• Assist the team in administrative functions as requested

• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:   

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position is responsible for supporting and generating sales of diverse shade products in a national and/or regional assigned area through relationship building and by demonstrating exemplary organization, product knowledge, and customer service skills. Position Overview:

Machine Operators will operate multiple types of manufacturing machines in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work processes, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment. The position will require rotating to other machinery within the department to complete production requirements needed to fulfill customer needs.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate several types of manufacturing machines, safely and efficiently, including but not limited to, drill press, die-form press, brake press, punch press, folding machine, turret punch, tube and pipe benders, roll forming machines, and saws.

• Complete daily production reports, as required.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.

• Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.

• Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.

• Maintain accurate inventory counts.

• Read detailed blueprints and instructions.

• Perform equipment change-overs and/or die changes.

• Housekeeping and sanitation of areas.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

• One to three years manufacturing experience preferred.

Powder Coat Operator

Morning Shift: 5AM-12PM, Evening Shift: 2pm-9pm
Starting Rate is $19.00/hour mornings, and $20.00/hour evenings. 

Responsibilities include:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:     (include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)

1.    PULLING PARTS

    by

determining parts to be gathered by reading relevant product reports.

2.    GATHER PARTS

    by

pulling parts per materials list and checking quantities and warehouse locations. Parts will not be checked off the requirement list until a small green label has been verified with the requirement list and quantity.

3.    VERIFIES PARTS

    by

looking at small green bar codes on parts or by using E-Docs.

4.    STAGE PARTS

    by

placing them in neat, straight rows and label carts with proper color and dates of list.

5.    REPORTS MISSING PARTS

    by

recording them on a missing parts report using S.O. number, color, part number, quantity and informing supervisor.

6.    PREPARES PARTS

    by

hanging parts to be coated.

7.    HANG PARTS

    by

using clean hooks and racks this will provide a good ground, which will improve transfer efficiency. Verifying that the small green bar code label corresponds with the requirement report and quantity.

    8.    PREPARES PARTS TO BE HUNG

        by   

hanging parts on the line in such a manner that prevents them from falling off the line or filling internally with water.   

    9.    HANGS PARTS TIGHTLY

            by

utilizing all available space and filling racks completely.

10.    INSPECTS PARTS

by

visually looking for part defects, sand or Scotch Brite any rough areas as needed; or any part that has been previously powder coated.

11.    PLUG PARTS

by

    placing appropriate size plugs in any hole that is threaded or any hole that could let water in.

12.    SPRAY PARTS

            by

            applying powder to products with the correct amount of milage.

13.         IDENTIFIES COLORS

by

looking at color tag in front of parts and bringing the correct color hopper to the spray booth from the powder storage room.

14.         SELECTS POWDER

by

    using the oldest powder first in the powder storage area.

15.         VERIFIES READINGS

by

looking at gauges on the motor control center to make sure temperatures are correct before starting the line.

16.         CHECKS PARTS

by

    Scanning small green bar code labels so that parts get labeled correctly.

17.         LABELS PARTS

by

Scanning small green bar codes through clear plastic bags; applying footing labels, if required; and placing a 2” x 4” bar code on the outside of bag. Replace small green bar code if it came off during the process.

18.         CONDCUTS FINAL CHECK

Visually inspecting package to make sure it is acceptable.

JOB SUMMARY:

•    Responsible for ongoing review and management of the P&L for the agency including annual planning beginning in October each year. 

•    Prepares and participates in business plan reviews, quarterly budget reviews, and monthly 30-60-90-day reporting. 

•    Participates and attends Playworld National Sales Meetings & Training Seminars as well as any meetings for Playworld Agency Owners/Leadership.

•    Acts as the liaison between Playworld Preferred and Playworld internal departments (customer service, NPD, manufacturing etc.).

Working as a member of a team, assist in the attainment of all rotational plastic molding production requirements by learning and following all process steps and requirements necessary to produce parts.  Position requires constant work at a height of up to 10 feet above ground on a large platform with closed railing.

•    Travel regularly throughout the region to meet with A&D firms, attend client presentations, and represent USA SHADE at industry events

•    Conduct lunch-and-learn presentations, product demonstrations, and eventually CEU (Continuing Education Unit) accredited programs with A&D firms

•    Guide design professionals through the design and specification process, ensuring USA SHADE products are accurately written into and represented within project documents

•    Collaborate with the sales team to track and convert specification leads into closed projects

•    Maintain an active pipeline and provide regular reporting on activity, opportunities, and market trends

•    Attend industry events, trade shows, and AIA/ASLA chapter meetings to build brand awareness

•    Stay current on product offerings, competitive landscape, and industry codes and standards
