USA Shade & Fabric Structures (a division of PlayPower) are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated, “hands on” Regional Sales Manager for Southern California. The ideal candidate has an uncompromising work ethic and experience managing complex, multi-volume, high-value, price-competitive proposals, as well as an unwavering drive to achieve excellence. S/he will also be impeccably detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, self-disciplined, inquisitive, and both process- and product-oriented.

 

Responsibilities include:

•    Develop new clients within assigned territory using various methods including, but not limited to, cold calling, attending trade shows, face-to-face meetings and direct marketing from their home office.

•    Work with existing clients and contacts to develop new business and cultivate existing business relationships.

•    Collaborate with other departments i.e. project management and engineering to ensure a positive customer service experience and client satisfaction.

•    Track, measure and analyze personal performance through the company’s contact management tool.

•    Prepare and present proposals to customers.

•    Perform various administrative tasks i.e. conceptual drawing requests, design drawing requests, and completing reports and paperwork as needed.

Qualified applicants will have:

•    Bachelor’s degree

•    Minimum three years sales experience

•    Working knowledge of construction sales and landscape architecture a big plus

•    Valid Class C driver license

•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

•    Previous experience in commercial aquatics, commercial shade, park and recreation, and/or pool builder business.

•    Some project management experience
