Facilities Maintenance Technician

Are you a hard worker who loves to learn new skills and work with a great team? We are looking to fill one Maintenance Technician position at our USA Shade & Fabric Structures facility in Dallas.

 

Responsibilities Includes:

  • Must be able to perform preventative maintenance on facility and equipment.

  • Must be able to Perform repair maintenance on facility and machines, as required, per supervisor’s orders.

  • Must be able to Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.

  • Must be able to Test performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters, or bridges.

  • Must be able to Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly for repair.

  • Must be able to install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.

  • Must be able to Align, fit, or assemble component parts, using hand or power tools, fixtures, templates.

  • Must be able to inspect parts or tools for surface (internal and external) defects.

  • Must be able to operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures.

  • Must be able to verify part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.

  • Must be able to Repair, rework, or calibrate hydraulic or pneumatic assemblies or systems to meet operational specifications or tolerances.

  • Must be able to Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment used for green production applications, such as waste-to-energy conversion systems, minimization of material waste, or replacement of human operators in dangerous work environments.

  • Must be able to complete paperwork as required by management and Report any work discrepancies to supervisor.

  • Must be able to Maintain and care of all tools and equipment.

  • Must be able to follow all safety policies and procedures.

 

Qualified applicants will have:

  • High School Diploma or GED OR 3 years’ experience

  • Associates Degree preferred in Mechanical/Electrical Technology (preferred)

  • Must be able to Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly

  • Minimum 3yrs experience in the manufacturing industry and at least 2 years' experience with electronic, mechanical assembly

  • Have a working knowledge of mechanical repairs and electrical trouble shooting and repairs.

  • Possess written and verbal communication skills
