Project Management Professional

USA Shade & Fabric Structures, the innovator and leader in fabric shade structure design and technology, is seeking a Project Manager Professional with extensive experience in commercial construction and project management, to enhance our growing team.   

If your areas of expertise include High Quality Control; Streamlined Operations; On-Time Project Completion; Proven Client Relations; successful management of Sub-Contractors and Vendors; and Labor and Safety Compliance, we would like to talk to you about your future!

Responsibilities include:

•    Develop, manage, drive, and complete projects from sales handover to close out.

•    Produce, update, monitor and manage the project schedule and budget.

•    Prepare, process and log project submittals and documents.

•    Coordinate work within Company departments as well as with subcontractors.

•    Ability to successfully manage multiple projects.

•    Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress and cost tracking reports.

•    Review and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with customers.

•    Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to inter office departments, subcontractors and clients.

•    Select and oversee subcontractors to complete specific pieces of the project

•    Assure project quality.

•    Occasional Travel is required.

•    Represent the company in a professional and engaging manner.

Qualified applicants will have:

•    Must have a minimum of five years prior project management experience.

•    Must have a minimum of five years prior commercial construction experience.

•    Advance training in Construction Management and OSHA a plus

•    Ability to successfully multi task on Commercial Projects for the duration of projects.

•    Must have working knowledge of common building regulations, laws, and rules.

•    Ability to multi task, delegate, listen, make decisions and communicate.

•    Communicate oral and written information accurately, concisely, and appropriate to the target audience.

•    Realize the importance of safety in the construction industry.

•    Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.

•    Experience with Unions, OSHA, Structural Steel, and CAD a big plus.
