We are actively seeking an IT intern that will contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and senior leadership. The selected intern will be hands on as they learn to assist in a variety of areas such as; end user support, hardware/software maintenance and support, cybersecurity, data center management among other IT related functions. This individual will learn the importance of clear and concise documentation and aid in IT’s efforts to be thorough and transparent.  Intern’s will also learn how to create and provide status reports, problem-resolution summaries, and inventory reports.

•    Learn and assist in the creation, addition and maintenance of IT resources.

•    Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.

•    Aid in the support of the IT team regards to maintaining/installing hardware and software. This includes; desktops, laptops, printers, operating systems and standard applications.

•    Complete assigned tasks and projects within the scheduled deadlines.

•    Stay abreast of the latest technology enhancements through continuous technical self-education and reading.

•    Contribute to inventory maintenance and spare hardware and related records.

•    Assists with site walk-through and audits, to ensure accurate equipment and compliance.

•    Works with networking and server staff, as required, to provide proper end-user connectivity to the network, servers, and applications/systems.

•    Gathers information on end-user issues to create tickets and escalate as necessary.

•    Follow IT standards for devices and software as approved and directed by IT Leadership.

•    Report any non-standard installations of software or hardware.



•    Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems major

•    1-2 years hands-on experience with a wide range of skills

•    Must possess the ability to diagnose hardware and/or software problems while following and maintaining procedural documentation. ***Must include troubleshooting steps taken***

•    Strong written and verbal skills

•    Robust analytical and problem-solving skills

•    Must have a solid work ethic and ability to display attention to detail



•    Familiar with Microsoft Office 365, Sever 2012/R2, 2016

•    Experience with Windows 7/10 and MAC OS.

•    Basic understanding of network terminology and protocols.
